AUN Housing and Accommodation Fees

The American University of Nigeria provides on-campus housing for students who wish to live on campus. The housing fees vary depending on the type of room and amenities. AUN Meal Plan

AUN offers a meal plan for students who live on campus. The meal plan includes three meals per day, seven days a week. The meal plan for the American University of Nigeria is as follows:

  • Additional credits above the 15 or 19-credit course load per semester will be charged at the rate of ₦81,400 for programs other than Engineering (N92,400 will be charged for Engineering Programs).
  • Each column represents fees payable per semester.
  • To calculate the total cost for a semester, you need to choose your housing preferences and meal plan. Most rooms are 3-in-1, but depending on enrollment numbers, there may also be 3-in-1 rooms available. You need to indicate your first and second preferences for housing, and the school will accommodate your request. If you choose “with facilities,” it means each room will have a full en suite bathroom. Don’t forget to select a meal plan as well. All students living in the hostel are required to be part of the meal plan, with a minimum of 7 meals per week. Please refer to the table below for the applicable costs of housing and the meal plan.
  • Tuition, E-books, Sports, Health Insurance, Student Activity, Engineering Lab fees (for Engineering students), and Technology fees are outlined in the table above.
  • Find the total amount by adding up all the figures in each row of the table and write down the total amount in the last row of the column. This is your total fee for each semester.
  • In order to know the total fee for the whole year, you must go through the same procedure for both semesters and then combine the two amounts.
