To be eligible for the Bowen University Post UTME screening form 2024/2025, interested candidates must meet the following requirements for admission.
Bowen University Post UTME Requirements 2024
To apply for admission, candidates must fulfill the following Bowen University Admission Requirements.
For UTME Candidates:
- Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME): All applicants must sit for the 2024 UTME.
- Change of Institution: If you wish to change your choice of institution to Bowen University, you must apply for a change of institution through JAMB, complete the Bowen University Application Form, and participate in the screening exercise.
- Educational Qualifications: You must have credits in at least five (5) subjects, including English Language, from SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, or an equivalent examination. These credits should be obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Specific Programmes: For Medicine and Surgery (MB; BS), Nursing Science, and Physiotherapy programmes, the five credits (including Mathematics and English) must be obtained in one sitting, and NABTEB is not accepted.
- Screening Exercise: All applicants must participate in the Bowen University Screening Exercise.
For Direct Entry Candidates:
- Application through JAMB: All direct entry candidates must apply through JAMB.
- NCE/ND: Hold NCE at credit level, ND, or approved equivalents with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.
- Advanced Level: Have at least two Advanced Level passes at acceptable grade levels.
- Other Qualifications: The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), or Cambridge Moderated School of Basic Studies at acceptable grade levels.
- Ordinary Level Requirements: In addition to the above, candidates must also meet the Ordinary Level requirements.
- HND Holders: May be admitted to 200 Level or 300 Level depending on departmental regulations.

Bowen University application fee is N7,350.00 only. Applicants who are unable to pay the application fee can still apply but will need payment for submission. Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
