EBSU approves flexible fee payment for students. Ebonyi State University has introduced a policy allowing students to pay their school fees in two instalments per session. This initiative is intended to enable students to balance their financial responsibilities while fully engaging in academic activities at the University.

The primary objective of this policy is to empower all students, particularly those facing financial difficulties, to pursue their academic aspirations without any disruptions, thereby promoting inclusivity in higher education and reducing student withdrawals due to fee payment challenges.

All payments, including acceptance fees, can be paid conveniently through the EBSU student portal.

Ebonyi State University Hostel Fee

If you would prefer to stay in the school hostel, then you first need to make a non-refundable payment of N5,000 for the hostel form. The Ebonyi State University hostel accommodation form can be obtained by visiting the EBSU Micro Finance Bank situated at the CAS Campus.

After payment, you must head over to the Student Affairs Office at CAS Campus to collect your official receipt. With the receipt in hand, the next step is to present it to the Hostel supervisor to finalise your accommodation details. EBSU hostel fee are as follows:

• For Teaching Hospital Hostel (THH): Those preferring the Teaching Hospital Hostel will need to pay N30,000 per bed space.
• For Presco Hostel (CHS): A fee of N60,000 per bed space is to be paid into the school account for those opting for the Presco Hostel.

Ebonyi State University Acceptance Fee

2. To generate an invoice for acceptance fee payment, first Create a portal account by logging in to www.ebsu.edu.ng/portal and clicking on CREATE A PORTAL ACCOUNT HERE
3. Under student type, Choose New Student (Current Year 1) and enter your jamb registration number in the box that appears
4. Click on the Verify button to generate the default account detail with your password
5. Log into the portal with your jamb registration number and default password
6. Update your personal profile before proceeding to generate an invoice by Clicking on Acceptance Fees and choosing Get Acceptance Invoice from the dropdown link that appears
7. Print and proceed to any bank of your choice for payment or payment online by clicking on the payment link on the invoice page
8. After which, return to the portal to print your acceptance letter and online admission letter.

After payment of the non-refundable acceptance fee, candidates will be issued with an electronic receipt following payment, which the candidate can take to the school to receive the applicable service.

Candidates are advised to report to the EBSU Bursary Unit with the electronic receipt to obtain the Original EBSU Bursary receipt (i.e evidence of payment of the acceptance fee). Thereafter, candidates are advised to report to the EBSU Admission Unit for the commencement of documentation; with the following:

1. Original JAMB Result slip
2. Original O’level result(s) slip (SSCE/NECO or NABTEB)
3. Original PD result slip (where applicable)
4. Original printout of acceptance fee acknowledgement slip
5. Original L.G.A. Identification Letter
6. Original EBSU Bursary receipt (i.e. evidence of payment of acceptance fee)
7. Birth Certificate or Age declaration
