Additional Clinical Fees

Medical students enrolled in MBBS are mandated to pay an extra ₦1,000,000 for Clinicals from their third year. The corresponding fee for international students stands at $2,083.

Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science students will also incur an additional fee of ₦700,000 for Clinicals, starting from their third year. International students for these courses will pay an amount of $1,250.

Edo State University School Fees Payment Procedures

1. A one-time acceptance fee of ₦70,000 is mandatory for all freshers.
2. Every student is required to pay ₦25,000 towards the Edo Health Insurance Scheme (Edo HIS) each session.
3. Students are to pay a minimum of 60% of their total fee upfront before course clearance. The remaining balance is due in the first week of the second semester.
4. Tuition fees are paid online via Edo State University portal.
5. The university also levies a Learning Management System (LMS) fee, which amounts to ₦40,000 for students. Parents have the option to pay ₦30,000 for access.

Acceptance Fee

Edo State University acceptance fee is ₦70,000 and is applicable for all undergraduate programmes and a ₦25,000 fee for the Edo Health Insurance Scheme (Edo HIS) per session. A minimum first instalment of 60% for all courses must be paid before clearance while the balance must be paid in the first week of the second semester.

Hostel Fee

Edo State University Uzairue provides a variety of rooms and living arrangements in its campus dormitories. Students, whether new or returning, have the opportunity to stay in these accommodations throughout the academic year.

The dormitories are furnished with security measures and offer a selection of room types to accommodate different preferences. Prices vary depending on the type of room chosen, such as single or double bunk beds, along with extra features like Wi-Fi and water heaters. Shuttle services are also accessible for convenient transportation to and from the dormitories.

Edo State University hostel accommodation fees range from ₦110,000 to ₦250,000 for Nigerian students, and between $500 and $1,000 for international students. All students, without exception, are expected to pay for accommodation.
