Ekiti State University Post UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session is intended for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who aspire to enroll in the prestigious university.
To be eligible for the Ekiti State University Post UTME screening form 2024/2025, all applicants must satisfy the following requirements for admission.
EKSU Post UTME Requirements 2024
To apply for admission, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
1. Candidates who made Ekiti State University their first choice in the 2024 UTME and scored the cut-off mark for their course: The cut-off mark for all courses are: Medicine and Surgery – 250, Nursing – 220, Law – 240, Other EKSU Courses – 140.
2. Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in relevant O/level subjects. Candidates with awaiting results should not apply for the Post UTME. They are to apply for the Post UTME as soon as the results of the O’level examinations are released.
3. Candidates who did not choose EKSU and are willing to change to the University and make them first choice are also eligible for the screening.
4. Direct Entry candidates who are interested in changing their first choice of institution to EKSU may also be considered. Direct entry candidates who have a minimum of lower credit are also eligible to apply. Please, note that EKSU accepts JUPEB (minimum of 7 points) and NOT IJMB for admission.
Candidates who satisfy the above Ekiti State University admission requirements are eligible for admission.

How to Apply for Ekiti State University Post UTME Form 2024/2025
To apply for the UTME/DE form, visit the online admission portal at www.eksu.edu.ng and click on APPLY FOR PUTME. Locate Admission and click on Start. You will be directed to the online application portal.
Sign up by providing the required details to create an account. Ensure you provide your active email address and Personal phone number, and a verification e-mail will be sent to you.
After successful sign-up, click log in to log on to your dashboard. Candidates are to log in using their correct JAMB registration number as a username and enter their personal phone number as a password when signing up.
On your dashboard select the type of application (2024/2025 PUTME application). The next page requires inputting the candidate’s JAMB Registration Number (UTME).
For applicants who chose EKSU, their information will be populated automatically and they can proceed to fill in their other details. Applicants who did not choose EKSU as their first choice will have to fill in all their correct details on the form page.
The next page requires inputting the RRR number gotten for your payment on Remita for the verification of payment status.
Attach your recent colour passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only on the form page. Upload details of your O’Level result(s) obtained at not more than two sittings in the following examinations: WAEC/SSCE, NECO and NABTEB. Once completed, submit and print out the completed screening form.
Payment Procedure on Remita’s Platform
- Login to www.eksu.edu.ng
- Click on PAY FOR PUTME
- Select mode of entry e.g. UTME or DIRECT ENTRY
- Fill in your JAMB’s Registration Number
- Fill in the course you are applying for
- Fill in your name and Phone number
- Provide an active E-MAIL ADDRESS
- Please click on the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA box for verification.
- Click “Submit”
- Select how you want to pay
- a) CARD (This method requires that you fill in details of your ATM card (Master, Visa or Verve card) details to make payment).
- b) Bank Branch (This method requires that you enter any bank that processes Remita transactions and present your pre-generated RRR code to make payment).
- Make sure you copy or print the RRR number generated after successful payment.
