Payment Options
- Two Equal Instalment Payments: Allowed for current 200 to 500 level students.
- Full Payment at Session Start: Mandatory for 100L and 200L DE students.
- First Instalment Payment: Grants access to first-semester registration only. Full payment is required for second-semester registration.
- Access to Accommodation and Course Registration: Only after payment.
- Accommodation Fee: Requires full payment, not instalmental.
- Partial Payments: When half of the fees are paid, corresponding credits are applied to the student’s account, with the remainder as a pending debt.
- Course Registration: Not possible without semester payment.

On how to apply for the Federal University of Technology Akure hostel accommodation and pay the FUTA hostel fee, you are to follow the procedures outlined below:
How To Apply For FUTA Hostel Accommodation
- Step 1 – Log in to your Portal account.
- Step 2 – Click on the hostel allocation menu.
- Step 3 – Click on “Generate Hostel reservation”.
- Step 4 – Select the Hostel type.
- Step 5 – Generate Hostel Allocation payment invoice
- Step 6 – Proceed to FUTO MFB for payment with the generated payment invoice
- Step 7 – After successful payment in the bank, return to the portal with the e-Pin generated in the bank.
- Step 8 – Click on the Print Hostel reservation receipt to print the allocated ROOM.
- Step 9 – Print the allocated room on the receipt and proceed to the Student Affairs Unit for further clearance.
The Hostel Accommodation Charges are paid once for both the First (1st) and Second (2nd) Semester.
