The remedial programme is for a period of one (1) year which will prepare prospective candidates for admission into the College at the end of the one (1) year programme.

College of Nursing Makurdi Admission Requirements for General Nursing

The following are the requirements for obtaining the Makurdi College of Nursing form 2024 for admission into the General Nursing programme as contained in the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (MNCN) admission requirements guidelines:

  • Applicants must not be less than 16 years old at the time of application.
  • All applicants must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO) or GCE O’ Level or equivalent with at least 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings of the same examination body OR NABTEB at not more than one (1) sitting.

Admission Requirements for Remedial Sciences

The following are the requirements for admission into the Remedial Sciences programme:

  • Applicants MUST not be less than 16 years at the time of application.
  • Applicants MUST possess at least two (2) passes at credit level including English Language and Mathematics to qualify for admission.

How to Apply for Makurdi College of Nursing Admission Form 2024/2025

College of Nursing Makurdi form is available online on the College’s admission portal. Interested individuals are to do the following

Log onto the portal at admissions.mcons.edu.ng. If you are a new applicant, create a brief profile by clicking on the “create profile” button and enter the required information.

The system will return you to your dashboard. If you are a returning applicant, please use the login page where you are expected to log in using your email and the password you created. Please note that the system will not allow duplication of data; if you have forgotten your login credentials, please use the “Forgot password” link.

On your dashboard, General Nursing applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable amount of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (N20,000.00) while Remedial Sciences applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable sum of Ten Thousand Naira Only (N10,000.00) using your debit card details or other payment options. Method of Selection

General Nursing applicants will be subjected to a Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted at the College’s CBT Centre. The date and time will be communicated to you on your dashboard. Only candidates who attain acceptable standards shall be invited for screening.
