OOU Courses and Requirements

The above are all the courses offered at OOU. Meeting the requirements listed below is necessary if you want to be admitted to study your desired course.

To be eligible for admission at the Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB or their equivalent.

Also, interested candidates must score a minimum of 160 in the UTME Examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Only those who made Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening exercise.

In addition, each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB or their equivalent.

For direct entry candidates:

  • ‘A’ Level/ OND/HND/NCE/A’LEVEL/JUPEB Results/Certificate or First Degree who applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB.
  • A Diploma certificate from OOU and who applied for Direct Entry through JAMB.
  • Diploma from other approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit who applied through JAMB for Direct Entry.
