General Minimum Entry Requirements For Admission Into The Various Programmes
Below is the minimum entry requirements for National Diploma (ND)
- Candidates must possess at least five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics obtained at not more than two sittings in WASSCE/NECO and its equivalents.
- In addition, candidates for ND would be accepted for admission following satisfactory performance in the UTME (JAMB) examinations and meeting departmental requirements with the relevant subject combinations.
- Candidates who did not choose Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, Port Harcourt may also apply for admission into the National Diploma Programmes. Such candidates are required to effect a change of choice of Institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) by making CEAPOLY their first choice institution.

Entry Requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND)
Below is the minimum entry requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Candidates seeking admission into HND in the polytechnic must possess the National Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic or any recognized institution.
- Evidence of one-year relevant post-National Diploma (ND) Students’ Industrial Works Experience Scheme(SIWES).
- Applicants from other Polytechnics should ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded by their Institutions early enough to the Registrar, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.
